Garage door project
Project Type: Garage door project
Project Address: Bullhead city, AZ
Project Description:
Our team recently completed a modern garage door installation for a residential property in Bullhead City, Arizona. This project featured a custom-configured C.H.I. Overhead Door Model 4251, designed to deliver high-end architectural appeal, light control, and thermal durability built for the desert climate.
The installation began with prepping the rough opening and verifying that the structural framing was square, level, and secure. Our technicians mounted commercial-grade vertical and horizontal track assemblies, engineered to handle the exact weight profile and dimensions of the new C.H.I. door.
The C.H.I. Model 4251 was selected in a sleek Gray finish with an elegant long-panel design. To give the home a contemporary, asymmetrical aesthetic, the door was customized with vertical 1/8" tinted glass windows stacked down the left side (as viewed from the street). In Bullhead City’s high-sun environment, tinted glass allows pleasant natural light into the interior while filtering harsh UV rays, reducing interior glare, and maintaining thermal efficiency and privacy.
Our crew installed high-cycle nylon rollers for whisper-quiet travel and calibrated a custom torsion spring assembly to guarantee smooth, effortless counterbalancing during operation. To complete the job, we installed weather-tight vinyl seals along the perimeter jambs and a heavy-duty bottom astragal seal, shielding the garage space against heat infiltration, wind-driven desert sand, and dust.
By combining C.H.I.'s robust manufacturing with a striking, modern window layout, we delivered a sleek, energy-conscious garage entry system that dramatically upgrades the home's curb appeal. This project demonstrates our technical accuracy in custom window layout installations, precision track alignment, and climate-focused exterior retrofits.
