New garage door and opener project
Project Type: New garage door and opener
Project Address: Kingman, AZ
Project Description:
Our team recently completed a residential garage door and opener replacement for a property in Kingman, Arizona. This project focused on upgrading the home's operational convenience, security, and exterior curb appeal with a modern Amarr garage door in Charcoal Gray paired with a reliable LiftMaster operator system.
The installation began with the safe removal and teardown of the existing door assembly, tracking, and old motor hardware. Our technicians inspected the rough framing and verified that the door opening was square, level, and structural before anchoring the new system.
We installed a heavy-duty Amarr sectional garage door featuring an elegant long-panel design finished in Charcoal Gray. This contemporary, dark-tone finish offers a striking contrast to traditional desert exteriors. The factory-baked finish is engineered to withstand Kingman’s high UV index, severe sun exposure, and blowing dust without cracking, fading, or peeling over time.
To power the door, we installed a LiftMaster 2220L garage door opener. This unit delivers smooth, whisper-quiet travel, integrated safety sensor protection, and reliable automatic locking functionality. Our crew installed commercial-grade steel tracks, high-cycle nylon rollers, and a custom-wound torsion spring assembly calibrated precisely to the door panel weight for effortless counterbalancing.
To complete the setup, we fitted weather-tight perimeter vinyl seals and a heavy-duty bottom astragal seal to insulate the opening, keeping out heat, wind-driven sand, and pests.
By combining Amarr's durable long-panel aesthetic with dependable LiftMaster automation, we provided a long-lasting, high-performance garage entry system built for the desert environment. This project showcases our technical accuracy in residential garage door replacements, operator setups, and weather-sealed retrofits.
