Our team recently completed a unique structural conversion and door replacement project for a property in Bullhead City, Arizona. This installation involved replacing an existing main door opening with a heavy-duty, commercial-grade Amarr 5601HD 6'x8' steel sectional garage door.
The project required specialized preparation due to the building's masonry construction. Our technicians carefully uninstalled the old door assembly and retrofitted the rough opening, installing heavy-duty masonry anchors directly into the concrete block walls. Ensuring square, plumb jambs against masonry substrates is critical for establishing a rigid, level foundation that supports smooth vertical tracking and long-term mechanical reliability.
We installed an Amarr 5601HD commercial steel sectional door measuring 6 feet wide by 8 feet high in a clean White finish. Engineered for high-frequency use and structural strength, the heavy-duty steel construction provides superior impact resistance and stability against Bullhead City's high wind loads, extreme summer heat, and intense UV exposure.
Our crew mounted commercial-grade steel tracks, heavy-duty hinges, and high-cycle rollers designed for commercial demands. We wound a custom-calibrated torsion spring system tailored specifically to the door's dimensions and weight to ensure smooth, perfectly balanced travel. To finalize the installation, we fitted industrial-grade perimeter weather seals and a heavy-duty bottom rubber astragal seal, blocking out heat, wind-driven desert dust, moisture, and pests.
